A short bus ride from Prague brought us to Cesky Krumlov, a tiny tourist town packed between the snaking Valta River.
A beautiful medieval castle dominates the landscape. But, as expected, the views of the town from the Castle are magnificent.
The guesthouse we stayed in a 200 yo home on the Valta about 5 minutes walk from the center of town. We overlooked the river from our bedroom. It was perfect. Mel and I really enjoyed our time in Cesky. We spent two lazy days enjoying the small town, the gorgeous river, great food, lots of wine and even got competitive with a few games of Rummy.
